The Beechwood Organization was founded in 1980 by Michael Dubb, a lifelong Long Island resident. Michael’s steady vision and passion for quality have propelled Beechwood to rank among the forefront of privately owned residential homebuilders in the United States. Beechwood utilizes the services of nationally renowned land planners, architects, engineers, legal counsel, and an in-house construction management team to create architecturally distinctive homes of the highest caliber. Beechwood communities are known for their high construction standards; luxurious amenities; and dedication to detail. The Country Pointe and Meadowbrook Pointe brands are renowned across Long Island.

The Beechwood Organization currently is developing Meadowbrook Pointe in Westbury, a 720-home, active adult community in Nassau County featuring a 25,000 square foot clubhouse. In Suffolk County, Meadowbrook Pointe Links & Spa recently began construction of a 280-home, active adult community conveniently located adjacent to the Mill Pond Golf Course.  Beechwood additionally has partnered with the Benjamin Companies to develop an award-winning, smart growth, master-planned community in the Rockaways known as Arverne by the Sea. When completed, this mixed-use community will be the largest revitalization development in the Northeast, 2,200 homes, a 5,800 square foot Stop & Shop, a YMCA, and a charter school.

Transitioning from small builder to national leader, Beechwood recently ranked 58th on Professional Builder Magazine's "Giants Listing of the Top 400 Builders in the U.S." and 87th on Builder Magazine's "Builder 100" List. Beechwood additionally has earned a well deserved reputation for its commitment to working side-by-side with local community members, businesses, and government leadership.



About Michael Dubb

Michael Dubb is the principal and founder of the Beechwood Organization and a highly respected developer of residential housing on Long Island and in the New York Metropolitan region. Born and raised on Long Island, he is highly active in several professional, civic, and community organizations. Michael was named Man of the Year by the American Cancer Society and Family Service League in recognition of his achievements and philanthropy. In 2011, the Sid Jacobson Jewish Community Center (JCC) honored Michael Dubb and his wife Lee at their Friendship Circle Luncheon to benefit the Alzheimer's programs of the Friendship Circle & Let's Do Lunch. Along with the Beechwood team, Michael has raised funds to support Long Island Cancer Care. In June 2007, he was honored at the American Jewish Committee Centennial Award Dinner for his myriad charitable endeavors, in June 2008, he was honored by the Tilles Center for his work with “Swing for Kids” 

Michael serves as a board member of the Belmont Child Care Association. He spearheaded, built, and donated the materials for the creation and construction of Anna House – a 7,500 square foot day care center for the children of the Belmont Racetrack backstretch workers. This innovative project was the first of its kind in the United States and set the standard for other racetracks to emulate.

Michael continues to be recognized for his charitable works and his outstanding contributions to Long Island and takes great pride in giving back to the community he has called home all his life.

 

About Carol Bosco
Carol Bosco is a senior vice president for the Beechwood Organization and the project executive for Country Pointe at Plainview. Carol joined Beechwood in October 1999 as an attorney.

She is responsible for the management of Beechwood’s legal real estate and litigation department; contract negotiation, corporate planning; serves as the liaison for the Beechwood communities’ homeowners associations, and condominium boards; community outreach; and various other legal responsibilities.

Carol is a lifelong Long Island resident and has lived in Plainview with her husband and two sons for the past 20 years, where she was active in the Stratford Road PTA and the Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School PTA.
